PG stands for Propylene Glycol, an organic glycerol made from propylene oxide, a petroleum by-product. The PG is a thin, odorless and tasteless liquid. The use and effects of propylene glycol have been thoroughly researched. It has been used safely for more than 50 years in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry.In vaping it is used to provide a “throat hit”, which some users claim is similar to the sensation experienced when smoking tobacco.
Throughout our body is an extensive system of receptors that comprises the endocannabinoid system, or ECS. The primary purpose of the ECS is to maintain homeostatic balance within the body, which it accomplishes through its neurotransmitters — known as endocannabinoids. These endocannabinoids work by regulating different body systems wherever an imbalance is detected; this involves the modulation of various other neurotransmitters, such as serotonin.
When introduced to the body, the phytocannabinoids in cannabis are specifically formed to bind or interact with the internal cannabinoid receptors of the ECS, and this process facilitates the release of endocannabinoids. However, CBD does not actually bind with cannabinoid receptors; rather, it inhibits the enzymes that breakdown certain endocannabinoids from the bloodstream. In this way, it affects the cannabinoid receptors indirectly.

No. Industrial Hemp lacks a potent amount of THC, the only phytocannabinoid that induces psychotropic effects in its users; this means our cbd products are naturally non-intoxicating. These intoxicating effects occur when THC binds with cannabinoid receptor 1, or CB1 Interestingly, CBD actually inhibits the binding of THC and CB1 receptors, thereby mitigating its intoxicating properties. It is this reason that commercial strains of marijuana are typically bred to have very little CBD.

The binding of THC and CB1 receptors is what triggers addictive tendencies, as it creates tolerance as well as withdrawal to occur with cessation of THC ingestion; however, because hemp only contains trace amounts of THC, it is non-addictive.
